A big move in the ongoing dispute over new apartments being built at Cobblestone Crossing.
Vigo County Commissioners have granted a stop work order that will take effect on the 13th.
The change comes after Area Planning Commissioner Norm Froderman admitted during a public meeting to having financial ties to Cobblestone.
Nearby homeowners say that he should have recused himself on every vote that had anything to do with Cobblestone.
For nearby homeowners though this is just the beginning.
They want a substantial barrier, they want the apartments torn down and the area to go back to single family housing as they say they were promised.
Attorneys representing the two sides apparently plan to meet.
