Halloween is the only time of the year it is ok for your kids to knock on a strangers door.  Or is it?

Police have  some ideas to help keep their children safe during the sugary holiday.

Before sending your kids out into a neighborhood to trick-or-treat be sure to check the sex offender registry. 

According to the site there are a dozen sex offenders that live within one mile of our studios on South 3rd Street.
