Gas prices appear to be headed to 3 dollars per gallon by the fall after a drop of some 28-cents recently. The average price for a gallon of gas in Indiana stands at $3.37, down from $3.65 a week ago.
The AAA report says some stations in Indiana are selling gas for as little as $3.16 per gallon. Indiana has not seen 3 dollar per gallon gas since December of 2010. Earlier this year, expert had predicted $4 to $5 dollars per gallon.
