Discussions became heated at the Vigo County Council meeting while talking about a proposed smoking ban. The city of Terre Haute will soon see more smoking restrictions come July 1st.  Many Valley business owners are still opposed to the ban. They are afraid that the ban of smoking in local bars and clubs could hurt business. Supporters of the ban say everyone has the right to breathe clean air.  Another public hearing on the issue will be held Tuesday in the Vigo County Annex at 6pm.
