The Terre Haute Parks Department opened the pool at Deming Park on Wednesday afternoon. Several kids and families were there to take advantage of the facility. The kiddie pool next to the main pool will not open this summer, but families can cool off at the snack bar located inside pool grounds. The Deming Park pool is the only public pool open this summer in Terre Haute after budget cuts forced Sheridan pool to be closed.
