A Valley community prepares for a new sewer system. The Newport town council received a grant to help pay for the switch. The council held a meeting Tuesday night to tell residents how they have money to carry out the changes. Many residents are concerned with the nearly six million dollar price tag on the new system. The town plans on applying for another grant. If they receive the grant, $500,000 could be paid for.  The new system could cost residents up to $60 or $70 dollars a month.
