A standoff with police ends with one person arrested.

It happened last Friday afternoon at 6602 Coulson St.  in Coalmont,… that s in Clay County.

Police were called out to a reported domestic battery.

Police eventually breaking in the door to the residence and arresting 28 year old  Fred C. Mullins Jr. after hitting him with a taser.

Mullins is being held on $7,000 bond on charges of Criminal Confinement, Strangulation, Intimidation, Resisting Law Enforcement, Battery, Interference with Reporting a Crime, Possession of Paraphernalia, and False Reporting. 

The female victim was the live-in girlfriend of Mullins.
