Traffic tie-ups are coming to Wabash Avenue in Terre Haute. The Board of Public Works and Safety has accepted a $1.1 million dollar bid from Wabash Valley Asphalt which will result in the removal of old trolley lines and railroad tracks and resurfacing.
At the end of July, the first phase of the project will cover 13th to 25th streets. The second phase is from 19th to 25th street. the project could take up to 90 days to complete.
