The Terre Haute Police Department along with several other law enforcement agencies are the local version of the National Night out tonight (Tuesday).

The event is part of a national initiative for the local community to be able to meet and enjoy the company of local law enforcement in a safe, fun environment.

There will also be games for the kids to play.

National Night Out is 5:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. at Fairbanks Park.

Admission to the event is free, as is parking on the park’s east side.
