A Crawford county man in jail for allegedly beating a woman and her young child.

27 year old Sean Wright is facing several charges and is being held on $25,000 cash bond.

Police say that t Wright held a woman and her 5-year-old son inside their home in Robinson, and beat them.

The child had to be taken by medical helicopter to the hospital for treatment of what the police call significant injuries.

Wright seems to have other troubles too.

He is also being held for the Illinois Department of Corrections for a separate Aggravated Battery charge from back in 2010.
