The jury trial for former Brazil Police Chief Terry Harrison was supposed to start yesterday but it has now been moved to Sept. 13.
The reason, the court calendar is clogged.
Prosecutors say that there are around six cases ahead of this one on the schedule.
Harrison faces charges of Failure to Deposit Public Funds and Official Misconduct.
Back in 2008 Harrison allegedly cashed a $2,000 check.
The money was supposed to be deposited into an account that was supposed to be used to buy child safety seats.
