The CSI: NY star was ""not seriously hurt"" in the smash but was forced to cancel a number of appearances over the weekend (31Mar-01Apr12), including a fundraising show with his group the Lt. Dan Band.

A post on the star's website reads, ""Gary was involved as a passenger in an automobile accident... He was not seriously hurt... (We) hope you'll join us in wishing Gary a speedy recovery.""

The concert, which was due to take place at Martinsville High School in Martinsville, Indiana on Saturday (31Mar12), will be rescheduled.
