The Parke County Sheriff’s Department shuts down an active meth lab.  On Sunday, deputies were attempting to serve a warrant at the home of Larry Capps.  According to officials, they found meth, a handgun, and products used to make meth inside his home.  Three people were arrested:  53 year old Larry Capps, 31 year old Crystal Lee, and 38 year old John Powell.  The charges against the three include manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of meth with a firearm and possession of precursors.
