WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) A Wausau police officer who’d been suspended during an internal investigation was allowed to return to work last Friday. Officer Lisa Rennie had been suspended for 10 days, and was demoted from administrative lieutenant to patrol officer.
Police chief Jeff Hardell hasn’t discussed the specifics of the case. He said no laws were broken, but that Rennie violated the police department’s code of conduct.
Rennie had suspended with pay since the incident was first reported in February.
