The Vermillion County Sheriff's Department report that an 11 year old boy was shot in the head on Monday morning. The boy was at a friend’s house with two other boys when the shooting occurred. The boy was taken to the hospital where he was in critical but stable condition.  The shooter’s name has not been released.  Police are investigating the shooting even though it appears accidental.
