INDIANAPOLIS, IN (WIBQ) -- Several other states have it, and now Indiana is considering a tax free holiday. Two state legislators say they’ll try to convince colleagues to vote for a tax holiday, saving Hoosiers a little bling. Greg Steurwald and Kreg Battles say other states have been doing it for some time, and its time for Indiana to get onboard. Indiana retailers say they like the idea of saving customers the state’s seven percent sales tax. That way, they say, customers will hopefully buy more. A summer study committee is looking at the idea.
