An Indiana State University employee is arrested for allegedly soliciting a male prostitute in Indianapolis on Wednesday. According to court documents, Brian Hasler used his ISU email account to answer an online ad for massages posted by an undercover cop. He then arranged a meeting and agreed to pay $160 for various sex acts. Wednesday afternoon he met the undercover officer at the Omni Severin Hotel where he was taken in to custody. Hasler, the executive assistant to the president for external relations at ISU, is being charged with a misdemeanor of patronizing a prostitute. A University spokesperson says that Hasler is taking paid vacation time, at his own request, to address personal issues.
