After 25 years of business in Terre Haute, the Golf Headquarters announced they will be closing up shop at the end of the year. The closing isn’t by choice though, owner Bucky Whitlock says that the recession and technology are forcing them to shut down his store. He said between the recession that’s affecting small businesses across the country and the insane discount deals consumers can get, he had no choice but to close up his store that started in his basement in the 1980’s. The business is holding a going out of business sale for the people in the Wabash Valley to thank them for all their support.
