TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WIBQ) - Union hospital has been rated one of the top 100 hospitals to work at in the entire nation. The honor was given to the hospital by Modern Healthcare, one of the top publications in the health care industry in the U.S. The facility still does not know where it will place on the list of 100 medical facilities.

Multiple employees were subjected to questions about their work environment for the publication's survey. Hospital officials say in addition to this honor they have also applied for the prestigious national Baldrige award, an annual accolade that recognizes U.S. organizations in the business, health care, education, and nonprofit sectors for performance excellence.
