TERRE HAUTE (WIBQ) - Bill Nye, The Science Guy, has been will be in Terre Haute later this month, helping the Children's Museum celebrate it's grand opening in a new home. The event, slated for Saturday, September 25th, will take place in the outdoor on the lot between Eighth and Ninth streets off Ohio Street at 11 AM.

Nye’s appearance is part of several outdoor activities planned for that weekend, and admission to his show will be free. The grand opening celebration for the new Terre Haute Children’s Museum will take place Sept. 24 to 26. The museum will be open from 1 to 8 p.m. Sept. 24, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 25, and noon to 6 p.m. Sept. 26.
