OLNEY, Ill. (WIBQ) - A Wabash Valley trucking company will have to pay it's former workers $300,000. The Labor Department claims HHMT Inc. of Olney, Illinois and its former owner Hal Hicks owe 47 former drivers the money in back pay. An administrative law judge says the firm failed to pay drivers for some of the hours they worked and in several cases the company did not pay the prevailing wage to drivers hauling mail under a contract with the US Postal Service. The trucking company is no longer in business.
