Milwaukee, Wi (WSAU) Free agency begins today in major league baseball and several Brewers will be looking for new contracts. The team declined 2011 options on Trevor Hoffman, Gregg Zaun & Doug Davis making them free agents. Also Dave Bush, Chris Capuano and Craig Counsell filed for free agency
The Brewers also made a couple of roster moves claiming right-handed reliever Justin James off waivers from Oakland & adding catcher Martin Maldonado to the 40 man roster. The 24 year old advanced from Class A Brevard County to Triple AAA Nashville this season.
