GRASS VALLEY, Calif. (WTAQ) - Green Bay Packers tight end Spencer Havner is facing DUI charges after crashing his motorcycle early Monday. The California Highway Patrol says the 27-year-old wasn't wearing a helmet when he lost control of the cycle at the end of a cul-de-sac around 2:45 a.m. in his hometown of Grass Valley.

A patrol report indicates Havner also suffered cuts to the back of his head and arm. Havner was taken to Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital in Grass Valley, which is about 55 miles north of Sacramento, and found to be under the influence. He was arrested at the hospital and later sent to Sutter Roseville Memorial Center.
