Terre Haute (WIBQ)-Vigo county residents on well water can breath at least a small sigh of relief, after officials said last night they don't plan to hike their sewer rates as much as originally proposed. Instead, reports the Tribune-Star, the rates for well water users will go up pretty much in step with and to the same prices as customers in the city on well water or who buy water through Indiana American Water. For Indiana American Water users, who have the lowest rates now, the total increase by 2012 is almost double their current bill.
