TERRE HAUTE (WIBQ)- An Indianapolis development company has announced plans to build a three-story independent senior living community on the south side of Terre Haute. The facility for people over 55 is being built on the southwest corner of Wheeler and Arleth streets and is expected to be completed by February. When finished it will consist of one and two bedroom apartments, a ground-floor community room and a kitchen facility. Rents at the new complex will be based on residents’ incomes. An official groundbreaking ceremony for Park Place Apartments will take place next Wednesday.
