Planning ahead is paying off for a family owned business in Brazil.

Morris Manufacturing announced on Monday its expanding it's already 61 thousand square foot facility.

The company makes machine metal parts; many that are used in car production.
They are planning to add more than 40 thousand square feet at a site behind the existing facility.

There's no definite number yet but the company plans to double it's 150 person staff.

Not only are jobs being added by Morris, the company has hired construction firm Thompson Thrift to build the 1.2 million dollar facility.

The 90 day construction will also bring jobs to Brazil.

Construction on the site will begin next week.

Morris Manufacturing plans to open the expanded site by this spring.
