INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WIBQ) - Is the lieutenant governor thinking of becoming the governor? Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman has been riding shotgun for the past five years, and now, she could announce that she wants to take the wheel. She said she could announce a run for governor in 2012.
Skillman is traveling Indiana, talking with Hoosiers to get their thoughts on her possible run. Last week, former Governor and Senator Evan Bayh said he would not run for governor, opting instead to stay near DC so his boys, Nick and Beau could finish school.
