A four vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 53 and the Midway Road on Saturday afternoon has left one person dead. The victim was identified as 84 year old Robert Bullock of Deer River who was a passenger in one of the cars involved in the accident. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a northbound car on Highway 53 went through a red arrow while turning westbound onto the Midway Road. That car was hit by a vehicle traveling southbound on 53 pushing it into another vehicle which, in turn, hit the fourth car involved in the crash.
