TERRE HAUTE (WIBQ) - The Vigo County School Board's holding a public hearing tonight at 7, at the administration building on Wabash Avenue. The $110.4-million proposals about $5-million less than was advertised last year, and according to the Tribune-Star matches a similar cut in state funding.
The district plan calls for almost $18-million for capital projects, and just over $6-million for school transportation. The capital projects budget is about $2 million less than in the past, and there are no major renovation project's scheduled for next year.
