WAUNAKEE, Wis. (WTAQ) - The economy and changes to seed production have put a century-old Waunakee seed company out of business. More than 300 pallets of machinery and other equipment was auctioned off at Kaltenberg Seed Farms Wednesday. The farm plans to fulfill seed orders through spring, but says after that, it's all over.

Officials say the slumping economy and more competition for seed customers forced them out of business.
