STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WSAU) Students in Portage County will start getting the first rounds of H1N1 vaccinations this week after the health department was given the go ahead to start distributing the shots.
Becky Dogherty from the health department says parents will be getting permission forms for their students to get those vaccines, and that they should carefully go over information before making their decision.
The department will also be releasing dose of vaccine to the target population at public clinics around the area. Dogherty says that's where people who aren't school students should be going to get their doses of the vaccine.
