Who am I? I'm the host of The Sunday Morning Southern Gospel Show. I have worked for 98.5/1440 since Feb. 1998 playing Southern Gospel Music every Sunday Morning. Why am I here? I love Southern Gospel Music and enjoy sharing this style of music and the message with others.
As a kid, I grew up in a pastors home and every Sunday I'd use my boom box to record on tape a couple of Southern Gospel shows (Paul Heil with The Gospel Greats and Bob Roush with Wabash Valley Gospel Sing). I'd play them all week long, over and over, my sisters just loved it, ask them sometime.
Interesting things about me: I work in cancer research, I have a small farm with a few cows, horses and goats, I have been married for 20 years and Carla and I have 2 boys, Tyler and Josh, (The Real Blues Brothers). I sang in a couple of local southern gospel quartets before the radio job. I absolutely love Christmas music. I'm a school board member. I'm an assistant coach in basketball and baseball.
